I mean, instead of intentionally wanting to be annoyed by Rogan.

I like the sounds though. I like hearing their corners shout. I like hearing the shots land. Otherwise it just feels flat. They need a mode where you can listen without commentary.

He used to be good at them though. The Spotify deal was right about when he stopped putting in the extra work he needs to. After that, everything just got awful.

There is this thing on your remote called a volume control. Unless you want fan cheering, but no commentating. That is just as annoying at times, considering most of them do not have a clue what is going on, but it is organic.

I look at the commentators the same way as do a buddy watching a fight with me. They will get excited over the dumbest shit or think something that may not be 100% the case. I guess the question comes down to is whether you think their reaction is genuine or part of some sell (as in pro-wrestling) for the company.

Yes, but that also mutes the sounds of the fight which I want to hear. It wouldn't be a hard thing at all for production, just mute the audio track. I'd gladly pay in upwards of $15 for that option!

I’ll agree his stand up isn’t funny. His commentary is OK. His interviews aren’t very entertaining. He convinced enough people he was an intelectual and that’s how he got a lot of his following.

I try to watch big ppvs at the bjj gym, we bbq, eat picanha, and someone hooks up the Portuguese broadcast.

No Joe on audio, plus a lady walks around handing out sliced picanha every few minutes.
