I have to agree with Joe. I can understand that some people might be banking on Connor's striking thinking that it's the best in the division which gives him a good chance of winning. But when Connor's never tested his skills against the top guys there's really no way of knowing how he will do, so him being the favorite is just crazy.

Joe knows.

But I'm sure he'll easily imagine to us why Conor is the greatest of all time, if he beats Jose Aldo.

I agree with him. Aldo has been at the top of the division for a long time.

Conor should be the underdog not because Jose is better but because Jose been at the top for longer

Probably true but it isn't really contradictory imo. If Conor proves it then no way not to give him his due. But considering what Aldo has proven already he should be considered the favorite until someone can take the belt from him.

Not that a champ can't ever be an underdog but Aldo is at the top of pretty much every P4P list on top of being a dominant champ for a long time and he is still in his prime. I'm pretty surprised he can be considered the underdog but that may have just as much to do with where Vegas anticipates the money going.

It would be contradictory based on his own claim, that Demetrious "Mickey Mouse" Johnson is the P4P #1, so I don't see how Conor would become the GOAT (even better than p4p) if he beats Jose Aldo (who isn't even #1 p4p, according to Rogan).

I'll bet you he doesn't if Conor wins. He didn't say that when Weidman beat Anderson.

Conor is here to take over . Jose is here to complain about money

Honestly it will be the 3rd punch in the very first round that finishes Aldo.....

The odds are fluctuating. If Conor is the favorite, it's because more people are betting on him - if you disagree don't complain, place your bet.

Who is watching this retardad show for almost three hours?
Interesting stuff is said and discussed sometimes, but if they focused on the interesting only, it would last 45 -60 min. at best.

People, this fight is ALL hype. I mean, they had to have a freak'n TOUR to PROMOTE this fight, to SAVE interest in the sport. Conor is going to look silly doing his coipueda irish dance while Aldo chops him down with lethal legs kicks.

The reason Conor is/was the favorite is the same reason that Pacman was a +200 dog opposed to the +900 dog that he should have been: hype, hope and a whole nation behind him. That being said, I do like Conor's chances WAY more than Pacman's but there is still no logical reason why a dominant, proven, undefeated (while) long reigning champion should be the dog to a guy that still has many a question that needs to be answered. When fans start betting with their hopeful wishes, we get odds like the Jones DC fight and Conor/Aldo

cause talk is cheap and that's what people can mentally afford. cause sheeple.

I'm rooting for Conor but he realistically shouldn't be favorite in the fight. I think it's worth considering all the accusations of steroid use that were thrown around before the Mendes fight. We've all seen the quotes from fighters saying stuff like 95% of fighters are on them and Aldo has had his best performances of recent years in Brazil. Now he's fighting in America and the UFC have upped their game in term of testing, people might really believe there's something in it.

Rogan says Conor hasn't fought anyone on Aldo's level yet labelled Dustin "world class" and heralded Conor as the "real deal" when he finished him. Good of Rogan to let us know that we shouldn't take a word of his live commentary seriously.
