Details shertards, details.

If you coud evolve your understanding beyond "what was the result" to "what happened in the fight", you would have a much better understanding of the sport.

Alex has his "3-1", but he has 2 charity wins, arguably 3, many people thought he should have lost the first fight. 2nd fight and 3rd fights what was clear to everyone he got saved by the ref and the bell, which is why Izzy remained the favourite.

Sadly its over for Alex now, Izzy effectively retired him. He's already enjoyed the charity of being fast tracked to title shot, and now he'll have to fight a rob or a bruson, or a marvin and he probably won't get past him.
His best weapons - his size and power, and aided by his crazy weight cut, which as he gets older he won't be able to do.

Izzy who fights at much more a natural weight and barely gets hit will have much more career longevity.

RIP Alex, all hail the GOAT.

Alex was winning this fight until he lost. Does that mean Izzy’s win doesn’t count?

This doesnt really work in kickboxing though as a fighter can drop whenever they want to and get a 10 count.

All hail the GOAT indeed

He won't be able to do the weight cut because he's getting older? The guy is already 35 years old. It's not like he started in the UFC in his early 20's.

If he can still make 185 at 35, I'm sure he can do it for the rest of his career if he wants to.

Although now that he doesn't have the belt and Glover is retired, he might choose to go to LHW. But it won't be because he can't make 185 due to age.

Also Joe Rogan, "Jan had no choice but to take Israel down, because Jan was getting LIT UP on the feet".

We could do this all day. Rogan is a shill and the most biased lackey around.
