For those who don't know, StarTalk radio says it "bridges the intersection between Pop Culture and Science with clarity, humor and passion. Captivating subjects—such as space travel, extra-terrestrial life, the Big Bang, the future of our Earth and the environment, and breaking news from the universe—will all be explored. Hilarity ensues as Tyson is joined each week by comedian co-hosts, celebrities, and other special guests."
It's a great show to listen to if you're interested in space.
Joe had Neil on the JRE last year and it was a great show. On the JRE Neil debunked some conspiracy theories such as the moon landing being faked, plus dropped some knowledge.

The two hosts “spilled their guts onto the table in a kind of free for all.” One conversation covered human DNA, evolution, biochemistry, genetic reward systems, and reality TV stars like Kim Kardashian. You’ll hear why science is a big part of Joe’s comedy, from the Higgs boson to the Big Bang. The two ex-wrestlers discuss the physics of wrestling and martial arts, and how science is a game changer

Sounds like it's going to be a great show, it comes out Oct 6th.

Joe's podcast with Neil was one of the best,so should be good.

What's this about two ex wrestlers?! I know Joe wrestled a year in high school, but if Tyson was a wrestler, I'm going to mark out hard.

It was difficult watching Joe spout his CT bullshit with an intelligent astrophysicist in the room. I get it, once or twice maybe.. but he went on and on.. Painful to listen to.. He did the same shit to Sam Haris, speaking over him and not letting him complete his points. Sometimes he just goes off on rants about drugs; the intellectuals aren't there to listen to your teenage marijuana habits.

Startalk is good, hopefully this is a good one.

Hopefully it will go different. He's on Neils show this time so hopefully he doesn't let Joe go off on a tangent.

The JRE ep with Neil was definitely one of my favourites. When he dropped knowledge about black holes he definitely came close to breaking the internet like Joe said. The dudes smart as hell and crazy interesting to listen to.

Well that was terrible. It was 45 minutes of Joe rambling on trying to sound intellectual. There was no talk about space at all and of course Joe was cussing like a sailor.

Joe tries very hard to sound like an intellectual. It is always entertaining to me to hear him spout his pseudo science CT baloney to a real intellectual like Neil.

Neil didn't even really talk in the episode, it was Joe spouting crap.

Joe Rogan is an ego maniac

Wow. People are all of a sudden turning on Joe Rogan now? Joe trying to sound intellectual? Do you guys even listen to JRE? He always talks like that.

Not talking about space? wuh? Do you guys even listen to Star Talk? They talk about a variety of different subject matter and not just space stuff.

Don't know what you guys were expecting..

I love Joe, Phillppou, but I understand what they're talking about. It turned me off of his show for awhile because he was starting to do it more and more. I think it's more about the way he presents himself though. He's a professional speaker, it's how he makes his living. So he has this confidence and self assurance in his speech that can make him sound like an ass when he misheard something or got bad information and is presenting it to someone else. It makes him sound like one of those people who is stupid but doesn't know it. I think Joe is smart and is capable of learning though, he's not perfect but who is?

It appears the Joe Rogan fan club has arrived.
What I've heard by Joe I don't like it, he goes off on these bizarre tangents. I've only listened to about 5 of his podcasts and thought they were terrible, wasn't worth it for me to continue to listen to him. His stand up is great, his UFC commentary is great, but other than that I could go the rest of my life without listening to him babble on and on in his podcast. Not everybody has to get on there knees in front of Joe.
And yes, I do listen to Star Talk. Ever episode before this the subject matter could be correlated to space, even the cosmetics episode.

I used to stretch dr Tyson at the old gym I worked at. The guy is a fucking monster. I stretched him on a table once and it was ridiculously funny how small he made the table look.
