cant stand his standup.

hes the type pf dude who isnt funny when he tries. but on occasion he is funny on his podcast when he isnt trying to be.

I think he is more entertaining than funny. He is interesting to listen to, but when it's forced jokes it kinda falls flat. He has to try super hard to get laughs.

It's crazy how much money him and Schaub and Callen are raking in these days. It's basically all profit. It's not like a band going on tour where you have to drive from city to city with a tour bus(gas, food..etc), bus for equipment, roadies and you end up splitting the profits from the gig between 4 or 5 band members and give the opening acts some money.

Rogan flies out to a city(usually for a UFC so he is there anyway) and he doesn't have to bring a single thing. If there's an opener then the opener gets paid. Thats it. Rogan charges more for tickets than some bands who are spending shit loads of money for touring expenses with lots of personnel. The only equipment a comedian needs is a mic and that runs $100 new which im sure the venue provides. I've heard Rogan sort of complain about how easy it is for bands because they can just play the hits when touring but he doesn't realize he's charging a shit load of money for just showing up and speaking into a mic. It's all profit.
