According to Alex Jones, Rogan's move from youtube to spotify is because he's sick of google's censorship and woke brainwash. Supposedly his first guest on spotify is to be none other than Alex Jones, followed by Elon Musk who has also declared war on big tech, cancel culture and leftist thought control.

Says Rogan has tried to bring doctors on the show who have a different opinion on the Covid issue, but youtube will not allow him to have anyone on who doesn't tow the line of the current group think.

More details in this video...

So he's fighting corporate control by signing a deal with a corporation to have his show on their platform exclusively.

It's like these people are hustlers, or something.......

Joe Rogan is the voice of the people and he has their support. He's leading the way and soon a lot of other influential people who have a large audience will do the same

lmao declare war on big tech by signing an exclusive deal with a giant tech corp. Yeah, the revolution is at hand boys.

What did Rogan say against the UFC when they fine and suspended fighters for comments they've made?

That would be really sad if Alex Jones was his first guest on Spotify.

Pretty sure the amount of market cap that Spotify gained after Rogan's announcement would be enough to qualify as Big Tech lol.

or we wait to see what happens considering the source here.

Rogan giving a platform to Alex Jones shows what a turd he is.

edit:

Alex Jones ordered to pay $100,000 in Sandy Hook defamation case

US radio host and prominent conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has been ordered to pay $100,000 (£76,000) in legal fees and court costs in a defamation case against him.

The case has been brought by the father of a child killed in the Sandy Hook mass school shooting in 2012.

Mr Jones has long claimed on his show and Infowars site that the attack was "completely fake" and a "giant hoax".

Twenty children - all under the age of 10 - and six adults were killed.

Rogan is alright but he should stay the hell away from Alex Jones.

Ah yes, Joe Rogan is sticking it to the man by jumping ship and joining a small start-up company by the name of Spotify.

I mean... google has definitely become more and more restrictive (and viciously greedy) since the day they acquired YouTube. If Spotify has guaranteed him complete freedom with zero restrictions and zero input whatsoever to go along with his massive bag, he’s still achieved victory in his fight against corporate control.

literally nobody gives a shit what alex jones thinks.

Choosing a more favorable master is still choosing a master. It's not like he has that many options, but let us not act like he's some crusader. He's a semi-competent comic who agrees with whoever is speaking to him at the time.

I'm sure youtube's censorship has a lot of people wanting to go elsewhere, but I'm also guessing the $100 million Rogan got made it a pretty easy decision.

Wild hyperbole by Alex Jones, which he ended up retracting after Rogan talked to him.

That said this is probably a good thing for everyone. Joe may not be "declaring war" against big tech, but he is helping to build some competition in the marketplace by making another platform viable for podcasts and video. Hopefully this makes it less likely that Google/Youtube will be quick on the draw with censorship.

Not that "Spotify" is some rinky dink company, but it's fair to assume Rogan saw the writing on the wall with Youtube, and got out while the getting was good.

My guess(if the story is even remotely true) is that he merely told Jones he was sick of Youtube's bullshit, and then Jones put his own spin on it.

Or Jones just made it up...

Regardless, I do think Rogan was getting a bit skeptical of Youtube's crackdowns on wrong think, and just left...with $100,000,000 as an extra motivator.

Master? Seems strong. It’s a licensing deal, he still owns everything

LOL @ "giving a platform".

Do you woke fachists even realize how silly you look when you say these cringe buzzwords.
