That's just common sense. Nobody looks down on them for the effeminate appearance, demeanor or mannerisms necessarily, it's really more the flamboyant extrovert behavior. And not all of them act that way, plenty can't help their 'fem' attributes and the first instinct is really to protect them, not hurt them. It just isn't attractive.

Serious question if this is the case why are people who are portrayed as homosexual on tv more often than not shown in this effeminate light.
