Youth gun violence has been dropping steadily since 1994... coincidentally the same year that Doom was released, the first main-stream first person shooter.

Of course I'm not saying that the advent of fps games have reduced gun violence in kids, but if that stat went the other way I'm certain the games would be blamed for it.
