C'mon, son.

You're currently exhibiting the phenomenon wherein someone hunkers down and denies any evidence presented to them in a debate that contradicts their preconceived notions.

That's not evidence, just random articles. Articles pop up everyday about studies showing certain from things causing a likelihood of increasing odds of getting cancer to preventing cancer.

I can spend a few mins googling women love beards just like you did and come up with tons of webpages, facebook fan pages, tumblr accounts, pinterest pages, random quotes from women who like beards. To say women don't like beards is idiotic.

50 shades of Grey - Should have kept the beard

Can't wait for the beard trend to die so that the mustache trend can take over.

I noticed you're in Ft Worth, I know plenty of people who work on the Amazon - AWS side of things in North Texas, and beards/etc are widely accepted.
I was a hiring manager for a similar group for a large competitor of AWS in North Texas and beards, ear rings, tattoos, mustaches, etc are pretty much ignored.

Which department/field within Amazon are you looking into? PM me, I might be able to assist.

Pretty sure men love beards more than women, bro. I know the consensus around men is that beards display their masculinity/toughness/alpha etc but most girls I've come across don't really care for facial hair.

There are few women who actually don't like beards at all. Even women who tell you they don't will concede to certain guys looking really good with a beard. Opposite end there are women who have beard fetishes and think men look like little boys clean shaven and don't find them attractive at all.

For the rest of women, they like both beards and clean shave and everything between but it depends on the guy. All beards are not equal and not everyone looks good with one. Most of the time women who say they don't like the look of beards are referring to guys who can't grow good beards. You end up with a bunch of guys with shitty beards walking around as well and then because women find those guys unattractive other guys get that idea that women don't like beards and start writing Esquire articles that beards are out.

An example would be Arlovski who can grow a proper beard unlike most men. I guarantee you very few women would say his beard is unattractive. Very few.

I'd go clean for it in my opinion or at the very least trim it up so it doesn't look like you've been unemployed for a year sitting around. Def also go get a haircut before.

The idea that women don't like beards is nonsense. I often platt mine and I'll get at least 2 or 3 women wanting to stroke it when I go out on the town.

Might be what's wearing the beard tho.

So, I have a job interview with Amazon next Friday. Don't like the redneck assholes I work for atm, been here too long and need a change, etc, but that isn't the topic.

I have a beard that I have been growing for a year+ (pretty long atp), and am on the fence as to whether or not I should shave it off to appear more professional. I mean, it's a common thing for people to have beards nowadays and I really don't want to get rid of mine.

I want the job, so odds are that I will shave it off and keep my stache' which is pretty big/long and more impressive than the beard tbh, but I would rather just keep it all. However, I thought I would seek some input from the Berry beforehand.

Do I show up rocking the beard and just hope they are open-minded, or do I sell out and shave it off?

Thoughts?

Shave the beard, it will grow back. i swear the obsessions with beards is really stupid. Your not working as a lumberjack or a brawny man. So shave it.

Thanks for the well wishes, bro.

Everybody has different perceptions in regards to beards, it seems. My family at X-Mas dinner (who all hate it btw) was saying I look like a jihadi lol. When I go out though, I am always getting compliments on it. I feel it may be better to err on the side of caution in this case and just get rid of the beard. I sure don't want to though...
That's some racist shit

I like your family

I'd shave. I've heard of interviewers being put off by beards; never heard of them being put off by a clean shave.

idk man

A solid beard can make for a more solid looking jawline. Plus, if you have a nice fucking beard it makes you feel good. I'd say to go in there feeling your most confident.

By the sounds of things you should definitely tidy it up a lot, if you're desperate for the job though get rid of it.
