The difference is Conor's gig is an act and it is highly entertaining. Ronda genuinely believed she was better than everybody including HW champions. She's as charismatic as a bowl of soup and never deserved the acclaim she received, much unlike Conor. So please stop comparing the two.

For the most part yes, Conor put on a show to hype up the fight, but come on, you think he didn't mean what he said about beating up people in multiple weight classes? Stuck in the mud divisions, weight doesn't matter and whatnot? He got too high on himself and got a huge reality check.

I agree, Ronda was WAAY worse, but Conor wasn't exactly innocent of saying crazy shit either. Either way I'm not arguing about Conor or Ronda, I'm wondering why people are suddenly looking to hate on someone new and targeting JJ for no real reason.

I just think she really hates gadelha. She punched her after the bell, and then has spent every minute since JJ became champion, whining about how it should be her, or begging for a title shot coming off of injuries. I have no idea why Claudia even has fans. JJ is damn near the only exciting girl with legit stand up in the ufc, and Claudia tried holding her against the cage, or dragging her down over and over with no other kind of offense.

Sometimes TUF does capture the real person: Matt Hughes was well liked until he acted like a dick on TUF and it has since been generally understood that that is what he really is like. Same goes for Ronda.

Are you sure? Before the Carla fight, JJ didn't do any of the "mind games" BS except the unusual pose during the stare downs (which was amusing). You can definitely say she started to act differently from the Carla fight onwards (but it looks like you weren't following her before). After the first Gadelha fight, she gave nothing but respect to Gadelha and they even took a friendly picture together.
