Ankalaev didn't like Hill lost tho. From the get go, he was "let's go Jamahal!! and saying "I predict Jamahal will KO Bum Tree". Then as Khalil was winning all rounds, Ankalaev posted "boring fight, almost falling asleep".
Then the fight ended and Ank was like "Lack of sportsmanship. Anyways, your daddy is next, Alex. Bum Tree will sit and wait"
Lol Ankalaev said he was Alex's daddy and that he'd fight Alex, saying Khalil kind of "has nothing more to do" ... Alex said clearly tho — next is Ankalaev. That should be a no brainier... I wish Alex Pereira would be totally healthy and in chama mode when fighting Ankalaev. Ankalaev isn't just some guy, he has something special too. Which is why Jiri wanted to fight him and it can totally happen, Jiri realized Ankalaev also uses the spiritual help. So Jiri can fight as Storm Jiri. And Chama Alex healthy... I think it's a 3rd round TKO for Alex vs Ank. Alex while sick, with a broken hand, fighting injured and way more often then Ankalaev, already fought a 50/50 fight. Poro Ank if Alex could be Chama (which he can now) and have no sickness... Alex to me is on another level when he is fully healthy and channel his chama energy. Not on another level, but noticeably above anyone at LHW now imo
Ankalaev is not special. He just got strict team behind him which cherrypick fights for him and dont allow him to risk anything. He dont destroy his opponents, he holds them until points. He lost 4x to submission and never submitted anyone. Never faced elite striker before Pereira, and Pereira was fighting without his main weapon....
