We get a lot of shit boxer to MMA fighter comps by clueless people especially when it comes to more popular names like Tyson but Jiri truly is the Aaron Pryor of MMA babybois. Take it from a high IQ and avid watcher of both sports. If you don't know who Pryor is you're missing out on an all time fighter and
Ridiculous chin, pace, chaos, relentlessness, volume, stamina, unorthodox strikes and angles. Takes damage but walks through them to land even harder ones. Very similar in how they take angles to land strikes and enter and exit at odd angles. Deceptive but flawed head movement too can look amazing at times but hittable at other times like Pryor against Arguello - some of the best fights you'll ever see. Both like terminators in how they keep coming at you despite how much you hit them with only. Both nonstop machines. Aaron was one of the best finishers ever too and Jiri in 29 wins has 28 finishes. Aaron by the time he beat Arguello twice had 32 finishes in 34 wins.
The kicks, knees, elbows and grappling make it a different context. Pryor had a short peak due to the coco and drug use but at his best from 135-140lbs he could beat damn near anyone ever. He is considered an absolute nightmare H2H matchup for anyone near his weight in his prime and when Jiri is done I feel he'll be seen the same way. Jiri has already even KO'd Bruno Cappelozza who's arguably a top 30 worldwide HW and hasn't lost since their fight.
