Jimmy Dore was on Tucker Carlson recently and had a lot to say about the war in Ukraine and the "saber rattling" with China.

2) We are doing this for oil, natural resources, power, money

3) we are the aggressors against China

4) We thought that Trump was the mad man who was going to lead us to war, but it's Biden being the war monger

It's only a few minutes, what are you thoughts on this? agree/disagree? why or why not?

He doesn't make any sense. Germany was separating themselves from Russia because Russia invaded Ukraine but he blames us for separating them. Everything is are fault on top of that and I'm not a fan of that sort of talk. I'm not saying we are guilt free but no way this is all our fault. He makes no mention of how these other countries have fucked up also.

He also has little to no understanding of the ramifications of losing Taiwan to China.

I used to like Jimmy Dore cause he would report on things and ask questions. Now he reports on things, comes up with his own conclusion of why it's happening, and regurgitates it as facts.

On the points, definitely no serious person in America wants a war with either Russia or China. We're "provoking" those two hellishly shitty regimes just by existing and functioning well. Disagree. You have to stand up to bullies and this guy wants the US to puss out for the sake of self-preservation, which is the exact reason the Russians took Crimea and Belarus with nothing but a "that's the line" from the "West". Understanding this failure to stand up for the sovereignty of the nations of the world is, at least in large part I think, the reason for the steadfastness of support for Ukraine nowadays.

The US is now or soon will be entirely energy independent so #2 makes no sense. #1 is a talking point I have only ever heard from Fox News devotees. If #3 is true don't you have to look to Trump's trade war, rhetoric, and various other actions for the heightened tensions there? Is it realistic to expect Biden to back down from the tough stance Trump fronted in such a short time into his presidency? #4 doesn't hold water to me in as much as Trump was mostly a total pussy and a joke on the international stage, gladhanding and praising dictators, initiating illegal trade sanctions with allies for petty political reasons, leaving the Kurds to get fucked over to appease yet other dictators, gutting the State Department, and on and on, only to leave Biden to clean up the mess--hell the Trump administration even hamstrung the Biden transition team during the interchange at the White House in a deliberate attempt to put the new administration on its back foot.

So yeah, like basically all things Carlson and Dore I rate this #1 US Grade 'A' prairie oysters.

Before this war started people like Taibbi, Snowden, Greenwald, Candace Owens, etc, all comically downplayed the threat of invasion, and blamed the U.S. for claiming it was imminent. In Taibbi's defense, he at least admitted he was wrong and apologized. Credit where credit is due. Many others just doubled down on the stupid.

Just today Putin once again claimed western countries started the war in the Ukraine. He said it in his state of the union address, or whatever the Russian version of that is called. "It's they who have started the war. And we are using force to end it." Yeah, OK. And 2 + 2 = 5.
