One thing Jim has got going for him is that he's as smart as it gets. He doesn't know shit about mma whatsoever, but I imagine that he'll do his best to not pretend that he does.

I thought Ben Affleck would suck at Batman, but I was wrong. But here I just think Jim Rome is a "big name" that corporate suits look for. I don't see the MMA knowledge there. Goldie stayed in his lane for the most part and was there from the beginning.
