Conor
Aldo

Max
Lamas
Cub
Oliveira
Bermudez
Stephens
Dias

Ortega
Yair
Bektic
DHC

The bottom 3 guys could easily be champ level fighters. Conors the champ and I can see him losing to half these guys at least

Conor, Aldo, Frankie, Max, Cub, DHC, Yair are some of the best strikers in all of MMA.

A bunch of these dudes have beaten top guys at LW including Guida who got his ass kicked out of the division.

Charles is one of the most electrifying and diverse/dangerous grapplers in MMA. Just easily choked top 10LW jury. Ortega is a great grappler as is Jose, Frank, Chad, Lamas.

Bektic and Yair are two of the best athletes in MMA. Mirsad is one of the most complete fighters.

Chad, Conor and Jeremy are 3 of the hardest hitters in MMA....

Choi and Yair are going to fucking kill everyone in that division

Don't sleep on this guy

Don't sleep on Ortega, I would take him over Yair if they clashed.

Damn really? Brian is nice but I think Yairs dynamism and athleticism is way too much. He did lose both rounds to Brandao before he gassed. Not like Yair doesn't have solid wrestling and escapes to his feet as well. I think he beats Brian up bad maybe knocks him out. His striking isn't good enough to hand IMO

I agree he was losing the fight, but he still managed to stick it out and finish it. Ortega and his camp learned a lot during that Brandao fight. It also showed a lot of heart and discipline from Ortega to win after being outclassed on the feet. Don't let it fool you, Diego Brandao is not some green bjj belt. Ortega is just that elite and learning how to put the rest of his mma puzzle together. Expect an exciting showing against veteran Clay Guida. I don't think Yair is head and shoulders above Diego Brandao.

Barao is also at featherweight. He was considered one of the top p4p guys for a long time.

I think Holloway will become a champion some day.

Hope Barao can make a good transition to the weight class and that the Dillashaw fights didn't take too much out of him.

No
Most of those fighters dropped down because of the competition at LW.

Holy shit I didn't even think about Barao. That's one stacked ass division, and BW is filling up nicely too.

most of them are LWs afraid to fight in their real weight class

Yea I think FW is great, but LW has been the most competitive division for like 10 years. Nobody holds a belt in LW for than 2 or 3 fights.

I believe Max Holloway has the longest win streak in UFC history without getting a title shot.

If he beats Lamas it'll be 9 in a row, which would tie Weidman and JDS for 6th longest UFC win streak.
