Hey guys, I just finished watching the 'Linsanity' documentary and it was great. I thought it was weird how they didn't mention how much effort he put into his academics to be accepted into Harvard. They made it seem like getting into Harvard wasn't that great of an achievement.

Does anyone know what Lin's daily timetable in high-school was to be accepted into Harvard? Where else can I ask for help?

Seriously. The AP classes in North Carolina were on a 6.0 scale, so if you had BELOW a 4.0, you were slacking. It was absurd.

Being Asian they just opened the door and said come on in.. My sister has the misfortune of being white. She was 2nd in her class with a 1380 SAT's.. They wait listed her but took African Ameicans and Asians with C+ averages..

No one gets into Harvard with a C+ average. No one.

Next time you make up a story, try to make it at least a little realistic.

Some statistic did show that yes. But when applying for college, they make you change your gpa on to a 4.0 scale because some schools inflate students gpa's with AP classes on a 6.0 scale and honor classes on a 5.0 scale. Some go even higher than that.

Asians have it harder than anyone to get in. They are expected to be A students and are discriminated by Affirmitive Action as much as anyone.

Affirmative actions limits the Asian population in College

To answer the question, because Lin is smart, pretty simple
