awesome stuff! another position I love because of its success against anyone; often even better success against the juiceheads than the smaller guys

There is just so much win in those videos. Especially the omoplata being a position and not a submission. That fundamental concept has really changed how I play it and caused my success rate for sweep and submission to go up tremendously.

I've trained with Jeff and he is an awesome teacher. I love his half guard stuff.

ttt

Just wanted to make sure more people get to see this. Great stuff in there. Especially for you blue and purple belts.

I've hit that colar choke he shows from the omoplata-crucifix position when my opponent is able to posture. Definitely my favorite submission to hit from guard. This just inspired me to study up some various omoplata techniques, thanks dragonfire.

Edit: anyone here have nino's DVD and if so is it worth the price?

This is great timing. I've been playing with the omoplata a lot lately. Does anyone have clips on finishes from there? What's the back take from there?

the last clip i posted has two awesome finishes. i knew the collar choke was there, but had no idea about attacking the far shoulder.
