Did Joanna win the fight by 1 point or by 2 points?

1 imo

but yeah i can't believe shertard stuff made it's way to press conference

"lot of controversy about round 3" - no

so Gadelha got 4 takedowns? oh wow, lets just disregard the fact Joanna almost trippled her significant strikes landed. When the fuck has that ever happened ina title fight!

Edit: Bruce Buffer anounced the points after the fight ya dumbasses. also the pics of the score papers are available to the public. Just google them.

I'd say two, but, its not even worth the argument TBH. It's all opinion based, Points of view formed after the fact.

I think it's happened twice in previous title fights by Joanna, but yeah you make a solid point here.

That was an incredibly easy fight to score for Joanna. Claudia became a punching bag after 2 rounds.

Er, all judgments are opinion, and I think most people formed their opinions on who won each round while watching that round. So it's more of an immediate judgment than retrospect.

All that said, I think giving her the fight by two is a smart choice. I had it 48-45, but I'm not inclined to push the point.

They also said JJ weighed in at 115.5 but was really 114.5. Coincidence? I think not

Yes, but its the judges job to judge. I was speaking more so for the people willing to argue it on the forums over and over when it does nothing. Albeit it's been pretty civil and calm with this one. I understand why people do it tho, I'm just more for the point of taking it and learning for the future. Arguing a loss to one point or two won't help her career, or offer any really insightful information. But, I suppose even this is a piece of opinion. So fuck it hahaha.

Who cares? Their opinions are unanimous... and they're opinions anyhow.

Look JJ won the fight, plain and simple, it was competitive and real fun to watch but I don't think there is any doubt in this one the right person won. No controversy at all

Had joanna winning 48-47. The judges who were giving out 10-8s like candy last night should be straight up fired.

A good example of a 10-8 rd was jouban/Mohammad rd 1 from Friday night.

Round 3 would be the only round a sensible person would argue for or against either combatant.

I just know Rob Young is an idiot and might be related to Cecil Peoples

much ado about nothing imo.

controversy would be if half the media scored the fight for gadelha.

I thought she had Rds 3-5. I'm not a professional judge though. I can see some scoring Rd 4 as 10-8.

P4P stupidest question?

Can you see their faces you stupid reporter? No controversy there!

I'd score the fight 48-45 to be honest. The last 2 rounds were pretty much the same thing and they were both 10-8 rounds imo.

But, that said, there's no controversy here. Joanna won. If anyone doesn't agree, it's because they choose to ignore the factors which are used to judge a fight and instead invent their own rules and apply them however the fuck they want in order to try and bend reality to their will. Unfortunately for them, the rest of us actually watched the fight, so we know who won.

Only place there's ever "controversy" like this is on the internet in places where you don't have to be smart to speak loudly.
