it's true, my point is that this is now a tussup fight when, a few years ago, would have been a swift massacre by Junior.
Reem post drug maybe. If Reem was still on that shit it would be competitive. What messed Reem up was the fact he had to deal fighting without that shit (which killed a lot of his confidence) and the bad camps. That takes time. The fact he's still fighting amazes me.
On that note, I don't really get the testing policy in the UFC. It's not half as hard as it is in roadbiking, lot of claims but they don't do a lot. It's very unclear to me what is allowed and what is not. Also think a lot more fighters are using than we will ever know. Anderson and his Viagra is the prime example of that. Also, sometimes the guys that shout the hardest in the media how pissed they are about others using could be the ones using themselves (Ben Rothwell, Bigfoot Silva). That was how it was with Lance Armstrong, the big hero. Shit, I think in the past even Anderson was outspoken about it.
My point, we don't know what would've happened. It's all about timing, I guess and which fighter steps up and also luck is a factor. I mean, did you ever expect to see Cain in such a weak display? It was pathetic.
As a Dutchie I will back Overeem in this fight but I think he could be KO-ed brutally. ALl depends on what fighter shows up that evening.
