JDS: I want a rubber match

Who is JDS going to fight in between? Cain fought bigfoot, and dominated after losing to JDS. Seems logical that Cain will get 1 defense (Overeem) and JDS will fight a top dog for #1 contender. Roy Nelson again in a 5 round fight? Jon Jones? Who will it be?

 

JDS is the man, but I think he should be patient and face another opponent before Cain.

 

Even in losing JDS showed a ton of heart and better cardio than i thought he had. Cain was tired in round 5 and slowed down in round 4. But i would like to see JDS get 2 fights in and rework some of his game. He is only 28. Improve some in the next year and fight for the belt again..

 

he should get 1 fight...i think roy and that will be that...maybe overreem if he loses...but then that means cain defends against bigfoot which no one cares about

 

Nothing controversial about the fight so the odds of an immediate rematch are zero. JDS is still easily top 3 and will knock one or two guys out before he gets his rematch.

 

luckily JDS can get the rematch after 1 or 2 wins

 

Give JDS anybody in the top 10, i hate how the UFC rushes these things.. He can fight Werdum or even Cormier.. I would like to see 2 fights in between..

Overeem is fighting Bigfoot and apart from the Reem there is nobody in the division close to Cain or JDS.

Cain was also slated for an immediate rematch IIRC then injuries came up.

Let him beat a non chubby werdum if he can, I wanna see both fight Cain so good #1 contender fight.

 

He doesn't say he wants an immediate rematch, he just says he wants a rematch like Cain got. He should fight the loser of Overeem/Bigfoot, rematch Werdum (if he loses to Nog), or fight Josh Barnett. That would be about equivalent to Cain's Bigfoot fight.

 

If this went went infinite rounds JDS would have won, cain would have broken his hands into his skulls and gassed out

If Reem wins he gets the next shot.

JDS vs Reem/Big Foot loser makes sense to me.

 

Wrong strategy lol...ya think?? That's probably one of the dumbest things I've heard someone say after that brutal of a loss. He needs to have at least 2 fights before he gets a rematch. Only problem is by then someone will probably lucky punch KO cain again. HW division is so upset prone.

And the broken zygomatic gassed jds would have landed the gassercut in what year? I love jds and think he can win a rematch but that fight was headed one way and one way only
