What dishes have you made and what did you like?
Reese's Oatmeal PWO - tasty, easy, 500~ quick PWO cals, but you will want 2 bowls until it finally sets in your gut and then you finally feel content.. Sometimes I workout, just so I can have this. hah.
Oatmeal Apple Pie PWO - i tried the layered version and it wasn't something i'd show my mom when it came out. to fit everything my 2'' dish wasn't really tall enough so either i screwed up or I don't know. When I finished it, I wasn't excited but I ate it anyways because it was food--tasted fine but I wasn't proud. I'll try the non-layered version sometime.
Coconut Chicken - It wasn't bad. I would get tired of it quickly so don't make a mass batch. It keeps chicken less boring by changing the usually variety of the flavor. The side dish of broccoli with lemon juice was really good.
Baked Yam with Turkey Meatball Marinara PWO - it was okay, but not a real winner for me. My turkey lacked the flavor and hearty-ness of usual meatballs. Making a marinara sauce was fun, but store-bought sauces kick my ass. lol
Thai Ground Beef - easy, and tasty. I make this often
Sauteed Beef in an Indian Spinach Cream Sauce - awesome, fun, tasty. wish it was spicy but I'm sure you could add something. I make this often.
Broccoli Beef Stirfry - easy and tasty. i make this often.
Chocolate Peanut-Butter Bar - failed. i think my new protein powder might be bad for making or something. when i was missing this there was so much powder vs liquid that it never ever came together as a dough. i tried to save it but it just never happened. i stirred for 20mins no joke watching pride fights (sperry vs ninja) and said fk it and baked it anyways. It turned into this crusty crap but i ate it anyways because it was still protein and nuts and i needed quick food that week. waste not.
No-Bake strawberry cheesecake - success. don't mix the sliced strawberries in though. they will add water to the cheesecake and make it runny. you can put them on top or serve it with and be fine. also, if you grind the flax the crust gets that funky flax after-taste. i'm thinking if you dont grind the flax you dont get this taste so much, but i don't think you get the benefits of your flax if you don't grind it. you'll just crap it out.
And i'm about to try a ton more recipes soon because I'm getting more and more brave as I go on. Beef Stroganoff is looking good. I dont plan on trying any off the fish dishes though. Baked salmon is so good it needs no dressing up. just throw it down with some grilled asparagus.
