Possibly the most exciting fighter with his head on the chopping block.....Choireally needs to win this one
Yeah true thing. Choi lost a lot of his fights in the UFC, but don’t forget he fought solid opposition like Movsar Evloev and Alex Caceres, he can’t be overlooked here.
In the Netherlands we say “Een kat in het nauw maakt rare sprongen”

Choi is good but gets sucked into brawls and goes full retard.
His problem to me is that hes way too predictable, although i like that he opts for the 2-3 usually but opponents see that coming after a while and he just tends to stay with his ways. Hes the type of talent to me that would really benefit from an optimal training camp but he'll stick with MOB Training

How is Jarno the only Dutch fighter in the UFC?

Holland has such an incredibly rich history in combat sports...

@BoxerMaurits can't you intimidate a few Dutch kickboxers to cross over?!
Dutch “male” fighter yeah, we still have Germaine de Randamie;)

I know bro, I’m also waiting for the Dutch wave to join the UFC:D
This month we can get two more fighters from the Netherlands though! Yousri Belgaroui will fight Marco Tulio Silva on August 29, and Isis Verbeek will fight Josefine Knutsson on August 22, both on DWCS.
It remains to be seen if they will earn a UFC-contract, but I have high hopes for them:)

Ofcourse we also have the likes of Ilias Bulaid (who’s very close), Nabil Haryouli, Daan Duijs, Agy Sardari, Gerardo Fanny, etc. who can get to the UFC if they remain focused and keep winning.

Reinier de Didder, Costello van Steenis and Gegard Mousasi are settled at either ONE FC or Bellator (though it seems that RDR enjoys the idea of signing with UFC when he’s out of his ONE-contract).

Costello has a very talented younger brother, Gino van Steenis, who’s 4-0 at 25 years of age. He’s definitely one to watch!
I can tell you though (and it’s something nobody knows yet) that he’ll participate in GLORY’s reality TV-show “House of Glory” (basically TUF), which will air from August 26. Dutch KSW-fighter Brian Hooi will also fight for a GLORY-contract and a potential welterweight titleshot, aswell as kickboxing veteran Andy Ristie… to be continued:cool:
May Gino win, I guess he’ll stay with GLORY and pursue a career in kickboxing, so let’s see what happens. So far he impressed me in his LFL-fights.

I expext Jason Wilnis to transition back to kickboxing after he’s found quite some trouble dealing with experienced wrestlers early on in his MMA-career, despite looking good against strikers.

Which Dutch fighter are you looking forward to most / do you have the highest expectations for bro ??

choi looked good, better than normal early on. i thought he could be someone in the division. not sure what it is besides all of the losses.
