Jan vs Jiří

I don't think he can get away with being as careless and leaving his Hands as low as he did against Reyes tonight, it was a good performance, but Jan's power is nothing to play with and if he doesn't come correctly defensively, I can see it being a short night for him, and he's the one getting KO'ed.

If Jiri does not improve his defence, he is eventually going to get knocked the f out, I think he was out like once tonight from upkick already and he got rocked once a fight since his time in Rizin.

But could he take UFC Gold? Hell yeah.

It's definitely gonna be an...interesting fight as long as it lasts, but who knows when Fans could see the fight, maybe late 21, or beginning of 22? Depends on the damage the winner of Jan and Glover takes and if either of them would be looking for a quick turn around.

Not every Champ is feeling as generous as Usman, and Jan is already planning on missing ALL of the Summer so it could be December, and if we're lucky, February.

The problem is that the unorthodox fighting style of Jiri is also what catches his opponents off guard and allows him to land. While fighting this way leaves him open in a lot of cases, I don't think just becoming a traditional striker all of a sudden would give him better chances against Jan. Either Jan catches him or he doesn't. Let's find out
 
I'd pick Jan. Jiri has shown he's capable of enduring and KO'ing anyone. But Jiri shows too many close calls himself. Jan has not just the power to finish, but the experience, timing, and fight IQ to exploit all of Jiri's bad defensive habits.

Jiri could win for sure, but I'd still pick Jan.

Jiri is born of the Just Bleed Gods though.

I like Jan in that one. Very precise counter punching is what is needed vs Jiri. Jan is very calm and composed and finds the right openings.

he has careless defense in general but Reyes’ kicks also forced his hands to stay low.

Yeah.. the upkick looked like a KO lol.

Jiri will get KOed down the line. He knows it.

I think he struggled with Reyes lenght a little bit.
 
Jan can be knocked out, but he had 0 danger in his fight with Reyes. Whereas if not for Reyes' low fight iq Jiri would lose tonight.
 
Jans body kicks disfigured the torso of Reyes when they fought.

Jiri has an amazing chin, but if you give Blachowicz free body kicks he will put you down by the third and g&p his way to victory.
