I mean what the fook was that?

What does Rockhold and Anderson have in common? Oh yeah..

3 months ago Jan went to close five round snoozer decision against old past his prime natural MW Jacare and barely won. I mean he could beat Jones but Corey has more skills to do it.

that result was not good for the division

People can improve. Less than 3 years ago, Jan lost to Patrick Fk'n Cummings.

He's shored up his TDD and if he lands on Jones is nighty night. He's also a big white gorilla with a serious reach.

I think him vs JJ is competitive.

overconfidence. it's rockhold's kryptonite, and anderson was probably taking jan lightly as well. that was a seriously lazy leg kick he was throwing, well within range. gotta respect your opponent more than that, no matter who it is.

Jon would have stopped Corey though.

Jan is overall more appealing to fight Jones.

The most preferred fight for Jon would be a rematch with Reyes, but we will see how this all plays out.

That might be true, but Dom has already softened Jon's chin. This might the moment we all been waiting for.

I'm looking at his record, and he has a lot of losses from 2017 and earlier to grapplers. Even the Gus lost was mostly due to grappling as I remember Jan was getting the better of Gus standing.

Since then, he's gone 7-1 with the only loss being the tko to santos in a close fight until the stoppage. So he's definitely improved the past few years.

I don't think jones took considerable damage in that fight to think his chin will be different

Enough good to KO glass chins but look Jan's record.. he has 7 KO victories in 34 fights and that quite a low percent.

No... Jan has looked very good recently and is 4-1 in his last 5. Great grappler, very good TDD, 5-round cardio, good striker with power.

Jones will probably decision him but it will be a very competitive fight at this point IMO.
