No it doesn't negate you saying that once Trump announced he was running for President he became a politician.....which is a statement that doesn't negate you saying that people need to stop taking political advice from celebrities. There's not really a comparison between celebrities on Twitter and the duly elected President of the United States. I don't really care if Trump was a celebrity before or not, he's a politician now. He announced his candidacy, beat out 17 Republicans through multiple debates and got the Republican nomination, defeated Hillary Clinton (who came into this with every possible advantage, politically and with the media) and was elected President. Just calling him a celebrity now doesn't really hold water. It's a bit different when he Tweets versus when Kathy Griffin or Lena Dunham do.
