James Vick vs. Evan Dunham Official @ UFC 199

@SUBLIME FAN Posted a thread earlier concerning some potential James Vick news. Looks like he's replacing the injured Leonardo Santos and will be fighting Evan Dunham at UFC 199 in Los Angeles. This is going to be a real good fight, winner has to be getting a top 15 fight. What do you guys think?

Well that's the one big glaring issue. Above par in striking in ufc. Slick bjj. But his tdd and getting up from his back isn't that great. His fight IQ isn't the highest either. If Dunham can get him down he can more than likely hold him down. But great fight. He deserves a spot on the main card but doubt he gets it. Dude is on a 5 fight win streak at lightweight ffs.

Dunham should take it. Any fighter with decent striking should beat Vick.

Very good replacement. Leaning towards Dunham, but win or lose Vick's performance in this bout should tell us a lot about him.

Not great from what I've seen. I think Dunham is going to be able to control him for most of the fight. Vick has slick BJJ but so does Dunham, I don't see him getting caught.

I want to say that too, Vick is tough though, it'll be a competetive fight i think.

He's been winning but I haven't been overly impressed with his fights. They've been a bit lackluster imo. I'll never forget when he went to war with TJ Grant though.
