I’ve been a fan of his from the WEC days, the guy is solid in all areas of the game. He’s had lackluster performances in the past partially because he knows his skills are so high yet he doesn’t have the super killer instinct showed to be in the top tier. Tonight against Warlley he finally showed the work of a good jab which he always had with combos and clinch game to ware opponents down. Alves is legit and the way Krause meticulously picked him off and used his high fight IQ showed he’s finally turning the corner in his career after this long. Reminds me of Neil Magny with his implimentation of length and toughness. Hope he gets a push up for the top 15 after this performance.
