Based on what I was told by both Jake Shields and his management recently, they would like to discuss the positive drug test at UFC 150 but are forbidden from doing so because of a nondisclosure agreement with the state athletic commission in Colorado, where the fight took place. Also based on what I heard from Shields and his management, it doesn't sound like a late night Xbox session with the Diaz brothers was to blame. Shields said the positive test was the result of "an honest mistake" and a "misunderstanding," but also insisted he wasn't "shooting steroids in [his] ass or anything." If the commission believed otherwise, it's unlikely he would have gotten off with a six-month suspension.

probably some supplements or something like King Mo (who i don't think cheated on purpose).

Well, at least we know for sure that Vitor is indeed the one who was granted the trt exemption in Brazil....

I wonder if Bisping will change his tune suddenly from calling Vitor honorable and respectable, to another cheater who should quit MMA?

Imo sounds a lot like the issue Chael had with TRT the first time he fought Anderson.

Bisping already called Vitor a cheater for his multiple KO's from punching ppl in the back of the head

i had my doubts about mo as well at first until i went to gncs website and you could still buy the stuff that got him popped. It was a pre workout but the next day it was off the website as well..

I have never bought that excuse and will never buy that excuse.

If you buy your supplements from legitimate, national brands the chances of a "tainted supplement" are minimal to non-existent.

If you buy a white jar labelled "creatine" with masking tape you deserve to fail.

No one has ever failed a test taking a BSN, Optimum, etc product.

"tainted supplement" is up there with "mishandled sample" for bullshit excuses drug users offer when they get popped.

If you buy a white jar labelled "creatine" with masking tape you deserve to fail.

did you watch his mma hour episode where he showed the supplement, and said the date he bought it,the store he bought it from, and what happened, when he used it, and all of that? I think he was telling the truth.

What can he talk about? He failed the test straight up.

I understand certain states not releasing drug test results, but I've never heard of the fighter himself being precluded from doing so.

How many weeks did he have to come up with that story?

I mean, you never concocted a whale of a story when you got caught red-handed?
