A plan B woulda been nice, rather than sitting on the outside eating jabs all night.

He did that to Condit twice that round.

    Condits chin is amazing.

Howard hurt Ellenberger standing. Ellenberger had to resort to takedowns and GnP to win that fight. If he's smart he will try to take Lawler down. With that said I hope Lawler knocks him out. Ellenberger isn't the dangerous striker everyone else paints him to be. He is mainly a wrestler with good power.

Ellenberger has a good chin, not Diaz or Condit level, but very good.

Kampmann finished him with a knee and he wasn't given any real time to recover (a bit rough given he flash KOd Kampmann in the first round).

Lawler can knock out anyone though and take a punch himself.

I'm pulling for Jake but he needs to pull the fucking trigger because if he is tentative against Lawler he's going to get slept.

He had Hendricks hurt badly though. He just couldn't find the one to put him down.

This post's just another reminder of how ridiculously fun Welterweight is these days.

His chin is great. He ate some huge shots from doomsday. Kampman is just really underrated.

I've only seen the fight once and it was a long time ago but I remember Jake being stunned or wobbled a couple times by John Howard (not too sure though). But Jake definitely didn't like it and wanted nothing to do with the standup of Howard.

Well, Doomsday does hit like a truck. I was there live when he brutally KO'd Daniel Roberts and I was pretty sure I'd just witnessed the first death in the UFC. Roberts was down for a looooooong time and his cornermen pretty much had to carry him out of the octagon. Pretty sure if that happened today he would've been stretchered out. He was in BAD shape.
