So I know there was a big uproar with the UFC not letting Jackson be sponsored by Reebok. Did the UFC have a change of heart?

they can't stop him from wearing what he wants in public, they can only censor him in the octagon.

ohh.. I thought the presser and weigh in would still be part of the "sponsorship activity". oh well... hoping jackson was gonna get paid by a good sponsor

He should sign a sponsorship deal with Bellator and then complain that Zuffa won't let him wear it.

Why can't rampage sell space on his trunks to reebok? Didn't Dos Santos wear Nike?
Don't all other fighters sell space on their trunks to whomever wants to pay the most?

I don't get it.

I'd love to hear why the UFC don't let their athletes wear Reebok.

Sponsors have to pay UFC a tax in order to have there brand shown in the octagon / on ufc television.

Reebok hasn't bothered paying them anything.

Depending on how high the tax is, that seems fair enough on the UFC's part.

Actually Dana said the reason why Rampage can't wear Reebok is because they're banned. He never said they didn't pay their fee, he said that they're not an approved sponsor. He told that to the media scrum after the GSP/Diaz presser

If there was ever one fighter that was gonna punch Dana in the face, rampage would be that guy

He can't wear reebok but everyone is talking about and getting more exposure than nike... Rampage wins.

That's the speculation I've heard. Do you have a source?

*I don't doubt this may be the reason, I just haven't seen it verified yet

Saw that as well. Made me wonder why they would not be approved. To be even more speculative, could it have something to do with Nike now being a sponsor???
