Even if you ignore the fact Romero backfisted his head off his win streak is pretty overrated.

Bristol Marunde- cut and has lost again since
Ed Herman- loses every other fight and has lost again since.
Okami- cut and has lost again since
Chris Camozzi- Lost since (although this is a quality win)
Belfort- Looked like a deflated balloon and gave up even faster than against Weidman

Best wins: Mousasi and a green Brunson.

Loses: Rockhold and Romero

Hendo bless

This shit literally means ZERO in the UFC now. So...

He is on a one fight win streak against someone he was heavily favored to win against

He's more deserving than Hendo but it's ridiculous how he and some fans act as if it was the biggest scandal in recent UFC history to not give him the shot.
He's on a one fight win streak and turned down a title shot when they offered him one.

There's really no point in justifying titleshots anymore. There's minimal legitimacy due to champions picking their opponents and the UFC allowing it. What's the point of rankings when #13 gets a titleshot? It's pretty lame when twitter followers are your meal ticket rather than your performance .

He's ranked #12 now thank you very much. And with guys like Uriah Hall ranked 8th its kind of a joke.

Yushin was the #3 MW by the UFC when Jacare destroyed him, no one beat him down like that and made him look like such a novice.

Carmont was also top 10 when Jacare basically shut him out, not sure why u didnt mention that win.

Ed Herman was a decent win.

He was on a streak. He got robbed against Belcher, beat Loiseau, Creuder, Noke and Starks latter 3 in finish before losing a competitively boring fight with Shields who popped. His only other loss post Maia 5 years before was a an injury before fighting Jacare.

Camozzi was a replacement both times they fought but he was a decent win the 1st time and on a decent 4 fight win streak, Catone (who beat Costas, Jacares originally scheduled opponent), Cane and Ring

Great wins - Yushin, Gegard, Vitor
Good wins - Carmont
Decent wins - Herman, Camozzi 1, Brunson (robbed against Grove and a top MW prospect at the time)

Most had Jacare beating Yoel as well which shouldve been another great win, prolly a bit higher than great with how Yoel was looking.

Youre not consistent at all here. You cant use how the fighters did AFTER Jacare beat them and revise their status at the time he beat them, THEN say Brunson was green and ignore how hes doing now. You cant have it both ways.

How am I ignoring how Brunsons doing now? if I was ranking him at the time they fought he wouldn't have even been listed as a top win. What has happened since is pretty important when almost half were cut and have lost to ppl in lesser orgs since.

You can't discredit Jacare's merits for a title shot. Rockhold doesn't deserve one after getting slept by Bisping and Weidman sure as shit doesn't. i agree with Romero but his suspension has definitely fucked up his prospects. You can only justify Hendo getting it by saying that the path to a UFC title shot isn't exactly earning one anymore.

Jacare's more deserving than Rockhold, he got crushed in the 1st round by pillow-fisted Bisping.

#DOMINATED Moose for 3 rounds before sleeping him.

PS if you're trying to justify a 3-6 50 year old Hendo title shot, please don't forget to mention the guy on Jacs list who did this:

And post-USADA
