I want Jacare to win and I wish he would have gotten a title shot by now, but this fight is really about Kelvin. Whittaker was extremely prepared for Jacare's jiu jitsu game and was very calm dispite spending extend time in bad position and used his quickness to piece up jacare
Will Kelvin be prepared? Does he really want it? I've been critical because he could have been the 170 champ if he was more disciplined

Kelvin wins on the feet. Drowns on the ground like everybody else.

Captain obvious thread.

If Gastelum beats Jacare he gets a title shot. There will be no more figuring out.

Strange thing about Whittaker, he has incredibly solid defensive wrestling. The ideal TDD.
I was shocked how well whittaker handled the jacare fight, even when his back was taken he was a smooth operator

Kelvin will knock out jacare and make it look easy. He’s old Chinny and slow, a recipe for disaster for a young, fast, iron chinned motherfucker with sledgehammers for hands.

Bold predictions being made here.

Kelvin chokes him out after an overhand right. I called it

Based on this prediction bet on a Jacare triangle.

THIS FIGHT WILL BE DETERMINED IN THE CLINCH

KELVIN BY A MEATY UPPERCUT WILL DROP THE ALLIGATOR

I'm a Jacare fan but I see Kelvin with the first round ko

I'm rooting for Kelvin. Likely via (T)KO. That being said I feel like it is still too soon to start counting Jacare out.

TV replayed Kelvin vs Ellenberger on UFC Unleashed, and boy did Kelvin's scramble to RNC look fantastic. This was against a guy with way more experience than him.

There is a new guy I heard of,Anderson ‘the spider’ Silva.i think he will do good.

Old thread is old, who bumps this shit?

It's a recurring theme for fans of 3 largely unknown fighters in the shadow of the big 3:
