Are you talking MMA or pure BJJ comp. Because jacare is not the best in either category

He is the most merited Grappler to have competed in MMA. He even won a majority in absolute weight classes

You can't judge MMA grappling based on pure grappling.

He was more interested in striking, probably because his takedowns weren't good enough

Jacare probably has the best takedowns of any BJJ player since Ricardo Arona, you have no idea what you are talking about.

Because grapplers tend to grapple less as they get old due to knee, hip and back injuries.

Or maybe he had good takedowns by BJJ standards but not UFC?

No his takedowns were good and he got old and grappled less due to injuries it happens all the time with grapplers as they get older.

There are no UFC standards for takedowns, some UFC fighters have shit takedows and some have great takedowns and everything in the middle.

    You never said that.
This section is meant for strike force and pride and wec descusions as well, not just ufc.
    Roger competed in SF.
Read the forum rules, and don't be so uninformed.

If you want to add rules toa thread, don't say it in your head and expect us let you give us head.

Why the fuck name it the UFC discussion if it's not confined to the UFC?
