he has 2 title defenses, he should stay the fuck put and defend his belt.
yup. he isn't ranked and hasn't fought anyone ranked. folks already got him fighting for the belt. SMDH.Chimeav is still a big question mark. The guy is not even ranked. Yes he has looked fantastic and looks like a world beater. But he has to fight someone ranked before I can say he's worthy to fight a guy like Adesanya.
Jan is an pretty underrated kicker. Don´t forget he was outkicking thiago santos( elite kicker), outkicked rockhold( solid kicker) and outkicked reyes( solid kicker). Of course adesanya is way more technical striking wise but never count Jan out, many opponents did that and found their head on the canvas.Izzy would be the favorite, he is a better striker by a mile, he would be way too slick for Jan. Jan is not a wrestler, i see Izzy working him with leg kicks for the first few rounds before Jan starts to gas then Izzy takes him out.
Izzy won't stand in the pocket and trade with him like Reyus or Rockhold. Jan is a slow plodding fighter with power, no match for the striking skills of Izzy.
Izzy should take this fight before Jones moves down and beats Jan.
Jan is no DC or Jones...
MW has a lot to offfer, even after Cannoniier/Whittaker. Who is the best ground fighter Adesanya has faced?
- Hermanson is a very interesting matchup for Israel, who is still somehow untested by elite grapplers.
- Too bad Mousasi is not in UFC, that would be a hell of fight.
- The fading great grappling especialists - Weidman, Jacare, Rockhold - return with corona; let's see if one of them can pull a late run. Close to their best version, arguably the toughest test to date for a striker in Adesanya.
- If Chimaev keeps his meteoric rise he will be knocking on the door soon.

Don´t forget marvin vettori, After he finishes akhmedov, he is for a run on 2021.
We're on the same page. My point is with a guy on the rise at MW plus the current top MWs you mentioned there's no point for Izzy to leave now.
Khamzat puts 2 top 10 W's on his resume and he will jump everyone at MW by early next year. Dana will have a huge money title fight and Izzy isn't gonna find a contender that will draw like a battle tested Khamzat any time soon at LHW
Weakest lw heavyweight champ huh? Well he's the oh one since Jon and Daniel in 9 years, so.Izzy would be the favorite, he is a better striker by a mile, he would be way too slick for Jan. Jan has obviously improved, have you not realized that? People can improve.Forest would beat Jan....
Since when did people think Jan was anything more than a mid tier fighter? He's a champ now cause te division is frankly the second weakest in the UFC.
It was just last year when MW bottom feeders ran through the division to earn title shots...
Forest was pretty good. Getting spanked by Silva doesnt disqualify all the good wins he had.
No one considered Forrest a weak champ until after the Silva fight. Which, in fairness, says nothing of him as champ.
Forrest won the belt legitimately. I'd say more so than Jan did, Forrest took it from the defending champ. Jan won a vacant belt.
Lol at Jan being sloppy. The guy has 70 Kickboxing fights, Jan is a sloppy brawler. Izzy kills him.

he has improved a lot in his striking recently( vs sanchez he showed very good combinations) and his cardio has always been top notch. . Recent wins vs ferreira, andrew sanchez and karl roberson are very underrated.I still dont see him as a contender. If he beat Omari in impressive fashion can see it. Not easy task though

so you don't consider DC a legitimate champion either then?
