If you say otherwise it needs to be accompanied by a betslip or you don't believe it.

Part of it can be because of the knockdown but I don't think it explains it all as he won the next round. He also didn't go for it when it was clear he was losing near the end. He went for it in the Gastelum fight, but he clearly wasn't prepared to die in this one.

It's a joke to attribute all of his seemingly downgraded performance to Strickland but the not going for it you can't attribute to Strickland. It clearly wasn't the best Izzy that Sean beat that night.

I don't like both of them but was rooting for Sean just for the chaos and fun factor. It just irks me that people say that it was Sean causing Izzy's off night. It clearly wasn't and if you believed that you would have bet piles and be fucking strippers with the money.

Didn't his dog die? :(

F'ing strippers with money sounds painful, like lots of paper cuts would be involved.

I'd rather buy them with the money and use other things for the rest, imo

.

Well there it is, the impass you will reach with the argument.

People who don't agree with you believe that izzy looked as he always looks. his gameplan just didn't work and he had no Plan B. Sean Stricklands style and gameplan is tailor made to beat Izzy. Izzy did not fight a bad fight.

This isn't a game where the better fighter always wins. Maybe izzy goes 9-1 against the top 10 on any given night and sean goes 7-3. But Izzy's 1 is sean. It's the match up that is just hard for him to handle. Izzy is smaller and doesn't fight as well moving backward/against the cage.

not to mention DeSean trained with Alex and got his insight. once the fight got going it looked like Izzy never had a chance. It'll be interesting to see what happens next.

He didn’t fight a bad fight?
Israel couldn’t seem to hit a guy standing straight up in front of him.

Izzy got his ass beat by a determined, prepared striker.

No bet slip.

I believe what I just said.

Izzy still has not said he wants another dance with Strickland.
I mean, most champs who lose a close fight call for a rematch in the ring and every 10 minutes after the fight for several days.
Right?

It wasn’t close, 4-1 at best 5-0 more likely
