what makes it even more absurd is his scummy fans claiming that dj just wants to get payed. The ultimatum he gave the UFC was absurd. If TJ doesn't make weight he's paid his show fee plus TJ's fee and then he fights Borg? Even that isn't really clear so he walks away with both payments if tj doesn't make weight and fights no one?

At this point i don't care who demetrious fights! I can only hope some sort of cosmic justice is served up and he's obliterated!

I already addressed it earlier in our conversation, I said I understand why he did it. But like I said before fans shouldn't be patting Bisping on the back and accepting it, like it's a good thing. He's cheating fans out of legitimate title shots. The guy you quoted is a crystal clear example of a modern day idiotic MMA fan.

Is my statement any less true about him being a ducker and all? Does ducking for money or an easier fight make it not a duck? If you are avoiding top competition in your division in favor of another fight in your division, for a freaking title defense, that is what we call ducking. Micheal Bisping is ducking. It isn't even the first time he's done it, he's made a load of excuses on top of eagerly fighting Hendo.

I thought that too until I heard MM said that he had no problem taking the fight, but if TJ did not make weight, MM would get TJ's purse. MM had been assured that TJ 100% sure would make weight, guaranteed. But they would not agree to paying him if TJ did not make weight.

Also, Ray Borg is nr.3 at flyweight, so it's not like he should be considered an easy fight.

All in all, I understand MM is pissed off.

Both DJ and TJ are unmarketable fighters. DJ is slightly more marketable than TJ because he's a champion, which makes DJ the "A side". TJ is the "B side". The "A side" has the leverage over the B side. It sucks for TJ because he really doesn't have a say in the fight matchup.

Let the man get this title defense and then go with the weight class movements.

He can market/value himself better and it's something the UFC can promote too.

This would've casually taken it's course had Cody not gotten injured.

Can't hate on DJ being upset and wanting to stand his ground. Can't hate on those who think he should step up. It's his career, he should have more of a say at least.

Hell he could just stall and delay the fight like 85% of the other champs do..

Pay him fairly , he can't draw flies with a mouth full of shit. They have to stack every ppv with him or put him on a free televised card because aside from the most hardcore fan base no one gives a damn about him.

If he would fight TJ he'd be on a PPV and get more money due to the cut of PPV sales. People know who TJ is instead of fighting some no name contender in 125 that just won a shot from TUF.

He bitches about money then when has a chance to face someone with a name. No I'm not fighting him blah blah blah.

He doesn't have to move up in weight , TJ will cut to 125.

Say what you will about the Chael Sonnens of the world but at least they'll step up and fight.

TJ isn't any more of a draw than Mighty Mouse and Mighty Mouse deserves to be paid a hell of a lot more than he is. I don't work for the UFC so I don't care what he draws. You should be paid based on your skills, accomplishments and standing in the sport, justnlike any other athlete

Bisping, Conor and GDR is way worse.
At least he has beat top contenders in his division.
Also if Dillashaw would win (very likely) it would mess up the divisions pretty bad.
Because I don't see him staying there.
