Depends on where you are and what you make of it. I grew up on the border and have family spread throughout the united states, there is no big difference. If you enjoy city life go to Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto or Montreal. If you like the outdoors, lakes or the ocean there is plenty of places to go.

One stereotype that isn't true is the Canadians are more 'nice', maybe the older generation not this one. We can be 'right greasy' pricks.

Canada is not boring. I hike, fish, camp, shoot guns at ranges and in the bush, ski etc. The land here is beautiful and is truly God's country when the bugs have died down for the season.

It's the cities that suck. No identity, dull/grey, progressively liberal and segregated.

In the 90's, as a kid my friends and i would always cross the border to get your candy. It was easy back then. We'd get Jolt cola and madcap? hot chips. Plus my friends that smoked back then could buy them at 11 at a store called clarks in Calais Maine. lol
