In case you've been living under the rock of sanity: A couple of days ago, Oprah gave a widely-praised (among Hollywood glitterati circles, anyways), dare-I-say "presidential," Golden Globe Speech in which she promoted the #metoo and #timesup movements that seek to unify and support victims of sexual predation.

Apparently, Ivanka loved the speech. She tweeted:


The reaction on Twitter was immediate and one-sided, with celebrities and normies alike pointing out the inherent hypocrisy of Ivanka expressing this sentiment alongside her proud support of her "grab 'em by the pu$$y," 16x sexually assault-accused Daddy.

She's not just Trump's family, she has a position in his administration that gives her clearance for classified intel. She's definitely someone that can be attacked based on Trump's decisions, you never hear anyone saying anything about Trump's other daughter, do you?

I really can't stand how progressives treat Ivanka. It's her fucking dad, people. No matter what he says or does, she has to support him. There are people whose fathers are serial killers, but no one expects their family members to just write them off.

Not only that, but Ivanka is a complete liberal democrat. They're attacking the only person in the White House who is on their team. It's deplorable.

Baron, Tiffany and Melania should be off Limits.
Ivanka is part of the administration so she is not off limits.
Fredo Jr and Eric worked the campaign but also talk mad plolitical shit. Fredo way more than Eric.So when they whine about fake news or the Derp State then if they start shit then don’t cry when you get shit back.
 
Reality show era was here loooong before Trump. It was just easier for some people to completely exclude someone like Britney Spears back in the day to win a pres election if she actually ran.

Just look at what gets attention and bank on that to win.

When, like, 20 people have accused your father/boss of being a sex pest (and his public comments and 'locker room talk' help give credibility to some of those claims), you should probably leave that #TimesUp stuff to others.

There are a lot of hypocrites on this, though. In 2014, Woody Allen received the same award Oprah just got. Now it seems we've decided he's a terrible person, even though the accusation against him is the same then and now. Polanski got a few standing ovations from the Meryl Streeps etc not that long ago.

I don't know what they want her to do. Just pointing out that she's not just a family member. She wants to be and is an active member of his administration.
