If they don't make Conor defend his belt and they actually go through with a Nate Diaz rematch then can you imagine the amount of blowback just specifically in sign form at Wrestlemania ... my god I can only begin to imagine ... haha wow

So... you're worried about pro wrestling fans making fun of the business decisions of the UFC. Why?

UFC 196 sold more PPVs than they were expecting, so they are doubling up and cashing out on Conor. I wanted Conor vs Frankie, but these things happen in MMA.

This reminds me of Sakuraba getting infinite chances to beat Wanderlei.

This is the ultimate biusness decision made by the UFC.
1 this will sell huge.
2 if conor wins hes back in the 3 division convo.
3 if conor loses hes still the fw champ and it sold fucking huge.
4 they know conor will lose again and soon. Time to cash in and if he wins have one hell of a story line. Its fucking brilliant by buisness terms.

Mighty Mouse hits Werdum with a 619 to win the title at Wrestlemania.

This trumps it all.

I liked this post, but then elbows too pointy. 3/10.

No, I'm obviously more concerned about the general population looking at a sports entertainment company coming across as more legitimate than supposedly the top mixed martial arts company.

Oh, no doubt. I agree 100%. I just wish someone in the top brass at UFC would have any concern at all for the future and longterm health of mma as an actual sport. Just one hunderth of a percent, just one.

I believe that I believe every word you said, and agree with it.

I mean... Everything that didn't include wrestling.

why should I give a shit what others think about mma?

Pro wrasslin' fans laugh it it, yet boxing fans would cream themselves at the idea of a champion fighting two weight classes above.

Haha, exactly.

You know Deontay Wilder actually trains with Nate regularly?

The seperation between fans of boxing/mma/pro wrestling still makes me sad. Know what's what, if you want to enjoy any wrestlers in college okay, and if you knew any boxers then okay but really 90% were never interested in this sport in any fshion to begin with before this fight so fuck them.

If they have a non title match as their main event that pretty much says it all. Will there be any title matches at UFC 200?
