It's Pereira who needs to keep distance

Because if he stays inside and engage in a brawl, Blachowicz will come out on top.

I think Pereira will be able to walk Jan down but he won't have the advantage in striking. He'll have a very hard time landing on him because he's not a good boxer like Glover is.

If Jan can stay composed and doesn't overextend himself which he rarely does since his fight with Santos, this is his fight to lose.

I'm sure Alex will fight smarter this time after that KO loss to Izzy for being too overzealous, and not keeping proper distance looking for a finish.

Two words. Awesome. Fight. Period. (Was that three words?!)

It could end up being a pretty cautious fight. In a way I’m glad it’s only 3 rounds. 5 rounds at that elevation could be a real bitch. If Jan fights smart and mixes in his wrestling. He should win. But either guy could put the other to sleep in an instant.

Really looking forward to it.

War Jan!

Jan shouldn’t stand with Alex. Period.
I think Jan will be too big for Alex. Out of nowhere, I like Alex. But Jan seems too big, natural lhw. Hits hard. But you never know. Alex has glover in his pocket, and that guy is a legit legend. Honestly, I love fights when I can't root for either fighter. Should be a good fight, even if it's quick. Both guys seem like good people too.

I believe that having trained with glover Alex knows full well all he needs is one right can opener to render Jan useless. As such I predict a takedown from Alex

Lol @ old Glover being a better boxer than Alex

I just hope it lasts a little and isn't over in 20 seconds after this buildup.
Both hit like a fooker. Both hittable.
Alex has looked a little chinny In his previous two fights with izzy and I'm certain Jan punches harder.
Maybe Alex chin will be better without the huge weight cut but maybe he will get knocked stiff by the more powerful punch with about 30+ more lb weight behind it.
Jan hasn't seemed too troubled with the previous middleweights power but they are no poatan

What the fuck is going on today with all these threads about telling Pereira how he should fight?

Damn I never knew there was so many educated professional coaches on Sherdog.

I’m seeing pics of Alex training with monsters. Curious to see what he brings to this fight after this fight camp.

Glover is a better boxer than Pereira?

Izzy fanbois wish Alex walked through Jan. At least some consolation prize because it’s something Israel will never be able to do.

Didn't he see the stars when Thiago Santos hit him?

With the arm chair quarterbacks here at sherdog, you would think everyone here is trying to turn Pereira into a point fighter. Pereira works best with his size, durability, and power advantage. Yet you guys want him to stick on the outside and tighten his defenses? Sounds like you want him to fight like Izzy when he's in cruise control. Pereira takes the risks because he's usually the more powerful and technical striker, so in a coinflip in the phonebooth he's probably coming on top.
