Mojitos are the best alcoholic beverage there is and are top five, maybe top three overall beverage. Smoothies, of course, are #1.

Cheers.

Mojitos are legit. That reminds me I gotta pick up some silver rum next time I'm out; I haven't been drinking at all lately and I gotta fix that ;)

Please don't use masculine phrases like "cheers" while discussing cocktails please.

Agreed. Also, it makes your breath smell fresh.

Serving this drink should be mandatory.

Been on a Blue Flame kick lately myself.

Add a little bit to some cola and good to go. Doesn't take much :p

Personally, I'm a Manhattan guy.

Man, both my dad and my grandfather drink Manhattans as their go-to, but I can't stomach those things. Tastes like gasoline IMO.

Then again, I am only 26 and my dad didn't start drinking them until he hit his 30s so maybe I'm still destined to sip on those things, just a decade from now.

I definitely love me a good Manhattan. Have you ever had a Vieux Carre? It’s like a Manhattan on PEDs. Great drink.

Nope. Funny thing is, I have everything in that recipe (barring ice) sitting within arm's reach right now (my office is in my downstairs' storage room). Maybe I'll give it a whirl later ;)

Lol at smoothies, but yeah, I'm all about the mojitos, especially in the evening toward sunset.

I have a Bloody Mary for breakfast every morning. Best morning cocktail, besides perhaps a tasty liqueur in your coffee.

No, I haven't tried any of those.

More of a rum/vodka/gin type with some good 'ol grain when I can get my hands on a bottle if talking liquor.

Right on, you should! There’s a few diff recipes floating around for that drink. I use:

1 oz whiskey (preferably rye but bourbon works too)
1 oz cognac (I like Remy Martin VSOP in this drink)
1 oz sweet vermouth (Carpano Antica is my go to)
1 bar spoon Benedictine
2 dashes Anhostura bitters
2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters

can be served on ice or up.
