Cormier is not a bad style match up for Jones. It's the opposite. Cormer has a foot long reach disadvantage and likely doesn't have to speed or movement to close the gap.

You're missing my point with that. I'm trying to say that it was extremely close since the deciding round was won by Gus until 38 seconds left in it.

No, Jones was not rocked as bad as that, but a fight is not decided on who got rocked the hardest you know. Gus beat up Jones pretty soundly, and Jones beat up Gus pretty soundly. Extremely close fight and that alone should warrant a rematch if you ask me. Beating another (undefeated) opponent viciously should only further cement that status.

yea totally one sided, gus didn't have a mark on him. i think jones haters/gus fans must have thought it was a 3 round fight and turned it off after the 3rd ended.

And obviously you joined in on the circlejerk - cringeworthy really. I've literally never seen anyone say Gus didn't take any damage in the fight.

Cormier has a reach disadvantage over almost everyone he fights. Hasn't troubled him yet.

Cormier is a bad style matchup for anyone. He can take down anyone in the UFC at will. On top of that, once he's got you down, good luck getting up.
