Pretty much, Volk showed from the first fight on that he was the all around better fighter. Max had a better showing their 2nd fight sure, but even I wasn't convinced he won the 2nd fight, and for those that believed, well their eyes are as open as Max's are bloodied right now.
Volks simply too fast and technical and Max never really evolved. The fight with Yair was a big red flag that the Kattar fight while exceptional was a case of Kalvin being tailor made for Max's style.

Volk is just a different level from all the FW's in the roster. IMO top 3 p4p.. I honestly don't know how you gameplan against him.. He has power, speed, cardio and volume lol.. if you have 1 of those you can be successful, this dude has those in spades its unfair.. not to mention he's strong af and compact that trying to take him down would be a challenge
