UFC is essentially it's entire league, you'd have to compare this to the NFL or NBA being sold.
Bellator , WSOF and the rest have no affiliation with UFC, so shouldn't be part of the discussion of it's sale.
If you think about it they sold UFC,Pride , WEC, Elite XC, Strikeforce and Invicta. So it's not like they turned $2M into $4B.

100m into 4 bill while white and fertittas getting fat salaries and expensing lush living

Pride, WEC, etc were bought with UFC money, so this thread fails

I'd say $100M - $150M is what they invested in the various orgs they bought and absorbed over the years.

Still an impressive ROI , but's it's not $2m ---->$4B like is being widely reported.

if you're going to be this pedantic, you need to take into account the money they made over the course of their ownership. I suspect the returns they got were higher than the amount of money they pumped into the company. Either way, i'm not sure why anyone cares if it is being reported as $2m to $4b or $100m to $4b.

Did they buy the UFC first? Did they buy it for 2 million?

If so, then everything else is consequential and a direct result of spending 2 million dollars to buy the UFC.

Ok I will give you that I hadn't considered the profit they made from their initial investment.
Still they are not a franchise of a larger MMA league, they are a league of their own, so still don't consider this a franchise deal.

Yes, that's exactly what it is. I think everyone understands they had to spend some money along the way.
