he blocked like 47-48 of them. It just looked bad cause he was exhausted.

    GOAT chin, right ?
but he kinda got hurt in the 4th, so "impossible" is too much.. easy it up.

Jones almost knocked him out. Jones proved he has an amazing chin.

Gus's cardio left in the 5th. Biggest issue for me was he completely dropped his right hand, allowing Jones to go for those headkicks.

To be honest, I though Jones would get a finish in 4 or 5, so Gus definitely worked on lasting the full 5 rounds. Makes you wonder how much better he could be if there was a rematch

    1) those head kicks weren't hard at all

    2) They were mostly blocked

    3) There was 1 strike that Jones threw that actually hurt Gus and that was in round 4 the spinning elbow.

Forget the headkicks, what about those nasty knees and elbows? I thought he was going to die at the end there. Amazing heart, I was shouting "YOU CAN DO EET!" for the last two minutes.

A past prime Shogun dropped him. He also got bloodied and stunned by Hamill (who beat Jon Jones inside of a round)

Wrong. Shogun caught a leg kick, punched him then immediately took him down. It was scored as a takedown (Gus was on one leg), not a KD (knockdown) for that very reason. But, since you mentioned it, Gustafsson knocked down Shogun in the first half minute. It wasn't scored as a knockdown but could've been, Shogun was caught off balance but was being hit with punches causing him to fly backwards. Also, lol @ "stunned by Hamill". Yeah right dude, Hamill got 0 TD's against Gus in that fight and only bloodied his nose with a couple straight punches. Alex smashed Hamill and unlike Jones he finished him legally with uppercuts from the clinch that dropped him in pain and then nasty follow-up GnP.

Gus is a fucking beast. I wish people would acknowledge this more than being so negative about this fight. His technical boxing is best in the division, and his TDD is impressive. Definitely worthy of a rematch over Glover.

This is the latest trend now, to say Gustafsson blocked all the head kicks. Particularly amusing considering limping your fingers up while you're gassed out hardly constitutes a block in the first place.

Gus's cardio left? Did you see JoJo? Gassed! He could barely breathe afterwards. Looked like he had asthma.
