Well, in so much that you care if they are to lose. I wasn't really shocked when Werdum got Jose Aldo'd in the first round, to be honest. Although I expected him to win, this seems to be a regular thing in the division. Someone gets a decent streak, then gets ko'd around their first or so defense. For me, its hard to be a fan in so much as I'm "hyped" of a potential HW goat.

Reem is on a streak, but he's going to be finished soon, either in the next fight or the following, its just how this division works. No, I am not a "fairweather fan", I can still be fans of contenders who lose, it's just not as "hyped" up knowing that almost everyone in the rank 10 will be a former champ because nobody can hold the belt.

That's why HW is the toughest division. Any shot thrown can end the other dudes night.

Really? Because Werdum looked like a complete fucking bafoon running in throwing punches like that.

Anyone can lose in crazy manner in any division though, it's just more pronounced at HW but I mean look at how Aldo...

That doesn't change the fact that it's the toughest division. Don't let your emotions dictate your thoughts son.

It's true. Heard Breen say before the fight that the HW title has never been defended more than twice in a row.

On rare occasions it's infuriating being a Sergei Kharitonov fan while keeping up with UFC.

Well now I can follow Bellator to follow his career going forward, but still...

Favorite UFC heavyweight would be Mark Hunt. And him losing by KO, especially being bashed up by Stipe and not exactly "repaying the favor" just getting fucked up confuses.

Tell me about it. My favorites are Mir, Mitrione and Barry.

Just have to enjoy the wins and roll with thE losses.

Im an oldschool guy so Hunt and Reem are my guys in the ufc.

Fedor too. I think he will eventually sign

People only want to support winners. This is the wrong sport to do that in and the wrong era (USADA is a b). Fighting, while everyone's skill and athleticism is relatively equal, should resemble this. When an athlete is destroying records and other athletes that are of a relatively equal skill level/craftmanship is when red flags start going off for me. It i one thing to pull a Ronda, or Royce, and be an evolved athlete in an era of amateurs but it i different to be so dominant in an evolved game. Like the NFL, NBA and MLB, the title should be traded like a hot potato and the fact that the HW division is all over the place bodes well for the legitimacy of the sport.

He fought like a moron but I'll always be a fan of Werdum.

so you can only be a fan of invincible fighters. I think boxing is a little like that
