It's amazing that Edgar moved to 145 to not be a small 155er

Both these guys fighting right now, Michael Johnson and Andre Fili, make him look smaller than he ever did at 155. As do Max Holloway and Brian Ortega. Even Conor would be starting to become a small 145er if he'd stayed.

Edgar didn't move because he is "too small" for LW. He moved down because he lost twice to Ben Henderson and the UFC gave him an immediate title fight against Aldo.

Edgar’s 155 title run was unreal. He basically would take a shit to make weight, no cutting needed.

It was also amazing that he won the title by getting his ass beat by BJ.

I had bj winning as well, but Edgar proved he was the real deal in the rematch anyways

Frankie could fight a BW, granted he'd be one of the bigger BW's.

The first decision ended the motivation once and for all. Edgar beat an out of prime unmotivated BJ in the second fight. I don't want to hear a counter-argument because everyone knows it's true.

Some of the current LWs would dwarf most WWs from the Hughes/GSP era

weight cutting is OP these days

FW has been getting bigger for a while now. Jose wasn't necessarily small either. Chad is deceptively heavy as well. There's definitely even more big guys now. Frankie really should be cutting to BW with everyone cutting so much as well.

Because Koch pulled out and they needed someone to fight Aldo. Good thing he did, too, because we got to see a great fight.
