What you described to me comes of as trophy wifeish or a typical mail order bride
I tell my wife she's my trophy wife and I married her for her body. She likes hearing that. Even though that's not everything.

Kpt018 and I are cool. I don't know his attitude behind it, but I'm good with him.the post came off as douchey (possibly unintentionally) but as you say, rips cool with it, so other people should chill.
That's funnyCanada here checking in
I hate Trump obviously and rooting against him. Not that Hilary is any better just she's not worse. Lesser of 2 evils
Anyway here in Canada I hate Harper and voted NDP. She tried to hide the fact that she voted for Harper
I couldn't believe it lol, I don't care if she votes badly I can't believe she tried to hide it though as if I would divorce her or something.
Political issues shouldn't effect relationships, seriously or you're in a sham relationship.
What you described to me comes of as trophy wifeish or a typical mail order bride (not saying you are)
What about Hillary's cognitive issues? Can you trust a President who may have had a stroke, may have autism or may have syphilis (contracted from her sex fiend husband) or all three?

She is also against abortion. We donate to a pregnancy care center. She's the one that really got that rolling.
People change Rex. Thank God I've changed. And hopefully change for the better for where I'm at now. That's cool. Unfortunately my girl supports abortion.
She's also a bigtime atheist and I'm a "meh" atheist, meaning I'm fine with Christianity being part of our culture. She said we'll baptize our future kids, though, for tradition's sake. Two atheists with a technically Christian kid. Lol.
Idk it really varies. Different strokes for different folks, as long as both are happy. Obviously we all agree that a woman living a life as essentially a house slave is silly. I think we can all agree a full blown career woman who neglects her family (same goes for a man) is silly. So if those are two opposite ends of the spectrum then everything in between is on sliders and its up to the individual couple to dictate how much into each spectrum each partner is.I didn't mean it to be but I really don't care.
Let's say a poster really believed that the best a wife can bring to the table is doing house work (Rip clarified, so this isn't directed at him). I will absolutely be douchey about that outdated and inferior position of the "good ole days". Unless someone can argue that way of life is superior to having educated women contributing to society in the same ways men do, I am fine with being a douche about it. Sexism, racism, xenophobia, etc. are all worth being ridiculed.
You described her as a stereotypical woman and further elaborated as cook, clean, shop. To me that insinuated old school, in which cooking and cleaning was completely typical of a woman (IE, before they entered the work force or went to college).LOL how? Because she expects a man to be traditionally manly and a woman to be traditionally feminine? What's with all the douchy "no offense but your girlfriend/wife sounds like a moron" posts in this thread? Do people really not see how bad they sound? Lol.
She works, by the way. She hardly sits around painting her toenails all day.
Of course a degree doesn't necessarily mean one's very intelligent, but there's really no way for me to convey her intelligence other than giving a credential. You'll just have to trust me on that one.
Russian, yeah. And your last sentence is accurate in my limited experience: they want you to be the stereotypical man--go to work, fix stuff, etc.--and in return they will be the stereotypical woman--cook, clean, shop, etc. Very "unenlightened" relationship by SJW standards. And I like that.

And I wasn't disagreeing and saying your wife was dumb, just saying that a degree, or absence of, doesn't make them intelligent or dumb. I talk with my wife far more about current issues than with her about fucking nuclear chemistry.
Mine votes Democrat or doesn't vote. As a minority woman with zero patriotism toward the USA she is unlikely to change.
She sounds like she should be Green Party or a part of the burgeoning socialist movement. Tell her the Democrats are dicks too.
I'm glad to hear you married someone with "zero patriotism," though. Realizing patriotism is stupid is the litmus test for being tolerably intelligent.
Fair enough. Sorry for jumping to an assumption, I just read into it incorrectly and/or stereotyped. But how does cooking cleaning, shopping and acting like a traditional woman sound "trophy wife-ish" or "mail order bride-ish"? A trophy wife is a bimbo, like Paris Hilton; hardly someone I think of as cooking and cleaning. And while mail-order brides may cook and clean, they hardly have a monopoly on that. Mail-order brides probably make up a fraction of a percent of the women that cook and clean their houses in this country (and others).
Just seemed to me like you were reading into something without any reason. I don't see the connection between being traditional and being a "trophy wife" of "mail-order bride."
If patriotism is stupid then so is being a hater. Living somewhere you don't appreciate isn't all that intelligent either.
Unless hating is merely trying to actively reform or bring attention to the problems facing your country. Being "proud" to be an American or thinking you are better than another citizen by virtue of your birthplace is worse than being dissatisfied with it, anyways.
She wouldn't want me going Hulkamania on her! This is funny stuff.

Anyway War Room, Do you guys and your spouse/girlfriend typically vote for different parties or presidential candidates? And how does that go?
