I know GSP mentioned it in the past, but as I stated months ago, it's just to get ppl talking about a potential fight with the money ticket(conor) But the fight will happen at 170lbs...he just is saying he can make 155lbs so it sounds like a more even/realistic fight to make.

Anyone that actually followed GSP throughout his career would know that making 170lbs was never easy. He talked abt how cutting weight is horrible for your body multiple times before this 155lbs talk. When you get older it's harder to cut weight, but you think he is going from 185lbs to 155lbs, when it was never easy to make 170lbs? lol nah

If he does fight at 155lbs, he will gas out during the fight and he's not known for his finishing ability so the chances are it's going late in the fight. He'll have to deal w a faster/quicker guy, while being completely drained from the weight cut. I don't think it will turn out well tbh.

Agreed.

All I can think about is other failed attempts ie Thiago Alves at LW and Rashad Evans at MW. The list goes on. Obviously GSP is another another level than the fighters mentioned above, but I still think it’s a bad idea.

Maybe you didnt hear but he has colitis and has lost a lot of weight

should meet Nate at 165, if that fight is set to happen.

Conor ducked the best wrestlers at 145 & 155. WTF makes you think he would fight GSP at all, let alone at 170?
