it was a disappointing rematch; can't both sides accept that?

This was heart wrenching for both sides.

The greatest ufc fighter of all time loses his belt then in the rematch snaps his leg. Extremely disappointing; Chris didn't wanna win this way and Anderson didn't wanna lose this way .

Both sides need to stop and just acknowledge this sucks.

Chris confirmed he was the better fighter. That's good enough for me.

It was a disappointing ending, for sure. The result, not really. But the injury is very sad.

lol, please nobody get baited by this.

disappointing for the silva side, yes. defensive skills rule

I'm not a Silva fanboy, I pulled for weidman both times . So just stop with the stupid replies

The Silva haters are in full swing. How can you be happy with that fight? Weidman is a beast. The most impressive part is the power in his hands. Everyone talks about his grappling but he is a BIG middleweight and he very well could have beat Silva in a 5 round decision. However, we will never know that. That absolutely sucks!!! With Silva's age and the recovery time of breaking your leg in half, we will never see that. To say that Weidman won the first round and that's good enough means either two things 1) you are not a fan of the sport and you are simply happy that Silva lost no matter what the circumstance or 2) You don't understand the difference between an injury and a loss.

Disappointing ending but I have no doubt Weidman is the better fighter. Weidman broke his leg and Anderson had nothing for him in both fights.

Weidman got a much stronger round against Silva. Spider showed nothing that would've won that fight, and the most effective tool a lot of people felt he had, his leg kicks, were actually his downfall.

When you think about it, it's INCREDIBLY satisfying.

Lol Claude the fictional character strikes again. Seems like 90% of people agree with that except the 10% most insecure die-hard Weidman fans/Silva haters.

Weidman dominated and won via 'The Destruction', Silva fans need to accept it.

Definitely a disappointing fight. Anyone who's content with the way that one ended is a fool as far as I'm concerned.

Definitely a disappointing outcome. I would have rather Weidman actually defeated Anderson than for Silva to go out on a freak injury like this.

Of course it was disappointing. I really don't see how any objective person could say otherwise
